At BAS Publishing we are trying to fill a void which we believe exists in band literature which is the lack of good Solos with Band accompaniment. During my 34 years of teaching, most of which was as a high school band director, I realized that there were not many arrangements available to feature my outstanding soloists. I therefore began making my own arrangements for my students. After I retired from teaching, I started BAS Publishing Co. mainly for that purpose.
Our publications are carried by over 200 stores in the United States, Canada, Germany, and Australia.

Every year we are increasing the repertoire of SOLOS with Band Accompaniment. We now have 78 different solos with band accompaniment many of which are standard repertoire solos in print in the original keys as found on state Solo & Ensemble lists. Some of these are either arrangements of piano pieces, such as Granados Spanish Dance #5 for Euphonium (or Trombone or Trumpet) and band or original works such as Vlonkov for Timpani and Band or Storm Dance for Oboe and Band.
We have recently added Dan Rager's new eBook IN SEARCH OF THE WIND BAND to our catalog.
Our SOLO SERIES features solos complete with band accompaniment by such composers as: Franz Strauss, Manfredini, Vivaldi, von Weber, Handel, David, Granados, Marcello, Telemann, Faure', Cimerosa, Cavallini, Capuzzi, Mozart. Flores, Al Sweet, Jay Glossup, Mark Walker and Thomas Reed.
